Friday 18th FREE GIG FRIDAY with HUNDRED DAYS – 1 of the regions finest rock bands returns to TJ’s after their mini tour of the South Coast. If you haven’t caught them yet, don’t miss out – you will be in for a real treat. Supporting them will be LIQUID VIPER with their great selection of classic rock covers. Saturday 19th SMOKING GUN  Fronted by arguably one of the best vocalists on the local circuit, along with an incendiary guitarist, and a powerhouse bass & drums rhythm section. These guys play a mix of mostly well-known rock covers from people like Razorlight, Muse, Foo Fighters, U2, Radiohead and Stereophonics, PLUS a list of well-crafted originals. £3

Sunday 20th OPEN MIC NIGHT FOR BANDS A great opportunity for bands to come and play on stage and try out new material on an appreciative audience. Come and check out the local music scene for FREE and chill out on a Sunday evening.

Wednesday 23rd STUDENT NIGHT with live music, Gaming Corner, Pool and all drinks just £2. You don’t have to be a student to come along, but if you bring proof that you are, you will  get a 50% discount on entry. £3 

Friday 25th FREE GIG FRIDAY with SOUL 73 with their unique take on the genres. Classic Soul, Funk and Motown songs injected with a little bit of rock and a lot of energy (and the odd guitar solo thrown in for good measure!) together with covers of Pop and Rock classics – both old and new – ensure that  Soul 73 put on a sensational show with something for everyone to dance to - and what’s more it’s FREE 

Saturday 26th DISTORTED STYLES with Happy Hardcore, Hardtrance and Electro. Come and enjoy a great dance night to end the month. Only £3 on the door.

JUNE 2012

Friday 1st Comedy night with Patrick Monahan. Patrick returns to TJ’s after a 6 month period which has seen him catapulted into mainstream television and we have to concede that this is likely to be the last time we will see him at TJ’s as his career is set to explode and he is already playing much larger venues.

Dan Mitchell will be compering the evening and as it was Patrick that beat him to win ITV 1′s  Show me the Funny, £100,000, a DVD deal and national tour, this should be quite entertaining in itself.

This then represents a great chance of catching him in an intimate audience with very reasonable ticket prices.  Spread the word, tell family, friends and colleagues and come and enjoy a fantastic night of first class comedy. £8

Saturday 2nd SOUND CIRCUS charity gig with a fantastic night of live music from Thomas and the Mock Ups, Forever August, The Splash, The Fatigues, Pin up Boys and Tom Rotherham. £3

Sunday 3rd OPEN MIC NIGHT a great night of live music with a wide variety of acts show casing some of the finest talent in the area.  A top night of chilled out music and the best way to finish the weekend. FREE

Monday 4th NIGHT ZOO with FATBOY TIM, RIOTS, SGT SKETCH, DJ SPHIERCE + more. The brainchild of Dan De Lancey (RIP Dan) continues in his memory with a great combination of live music and DJ sets to party hard to. This event is an 18+ night, so please do not attempt to gain entry if you are younger. £5 in advance £7 on the door
